That’s a great question, and one that probably should be asked of all the leadership candidates. What would you like to see the candidates say about northern Alberta?
I wrestled that question, with this one. Does Northern Alberta know what it wants? That's tough. But you probably already thought that. Anyways my personal opinion might not be the most economical. I would like to see investment of ag towns, so the human services can remain viable as the farms monopolize into corporations. Action to slow urban drift. Well managed finance, with expenses matching inputs with a little extra left over. Taxes (corp and personal) that pay for the services we need and will need. No more playing tricks with debt. Like borrowing money to pad the savings account.
